I personally like it over the metal / orange plastic triangle cheap reflex hammer, the angulation of the nose actually does a little bit better on reflexes (my subjective experience).Now, when you use it with kids, you'll find a couple things:1) Kids will be entertained by it and be interested in it.2) Kids will want to play with it, and be careful, because basically it's giving the little ones a tiny hammer to go around the room hitting things with. Choose carefully. Keep it out of view.Last week I was in neurodevelopment clinic and a kid with a lot of things going on decided to break the thing! I can attest that it didn't break, it bent a little and then went back to normal shape.
