The idea sounds novel & of course involves beer so appeals to most men out there. Given that i intend to use the beer bird in the BBQ cooking the indirect heat method & its February, decided to try it indoors in a conventional oven to see the results.Beer Bird comes with a small booklet of recepies, which basically consist of various rubs to prep you bird with I tried the first basic BBQ rub. Cleaned the chicken, applied rub & left in fridge for a couple of hours before mounting on a 500ml can of pale ale 2/3rds full (had a large 5lb bird) & placing in the beer bird stand. 160 deg fan oven for aprox 2 hrs.Oh my God the results where astonishing my family love chicken & we cook it regularly, but have NEVER had such a delicious & suculent chicken before. The bones simply slipped out cleanly when trying to remove the legs for serving. the whole bird was delicious. I have never seen a carcass picked so clean !You could attempt this method with just a beer can and sqewers however this product is extremely sturdy & just makes the whole process of mounting & unmounting (you will have very hot beer remaining in the can when you have finished cooking) the bird easy !Glad i went for the double Beer Bird as its just so delicious i will want to cook two at a time to cater for 6-8 people & its a great fit for my canopy gas BBQ.I defy anyone not to agree that Beer Bird chicken is absolutely truely amazing ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice! *by M***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 May 2024* Bought this as the prize for our family Fantasy Football comp.
