Often times I only have one or two hours before I need to get to bed to be up again in the morning. As such, I'm big on meal prep if I want to eat healthy. I initially was searching for glassware but these containers caught my eye as being light-weight, BPA free and LEAKPROOF, which are all the most important for me.I love the color, the stackability that makes it look neat in the cupboard without taking up space and even the size to fit portions was superb. So far they have been leakproof. I purposefully haven't tried tomato sauces or curries etc to test the stainability of the containers. I have used them in the dishwasher and they came out great, although they are so easy and quick to handwash. So, why did I give it 3 stars? Because, perhaps in their attempt to be leakproof they are quite difficult at times to remove the lid and in only using them for one 1.5 weeks, have managed to break part of the container upon removal of lid (it ain't leakproof anymore!!!). It still is useable but just not leakproof. Further, while I like that it's lightweight, it does feel cheap in that sense, but I don't mind.Pros: Good for price, lightweight, stackable, compact, good portion size, easy to clean, BPA free, not BENTOCons: easily broken, may feel "cheap," plastic (if looking for glass),Overall: Good purchase for everyday containers, can't get too upset if broken bc didn't pay $$$. Would I buy again? Probably not. But I'll enjoy using the ones I currently have while searching for other options. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars A thoughtfully designed tupperware *by A***M on Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2015* I am glad I made this purchase. I was looking for high quality containers to store and microwave food. The containers are simple and light, and the biggest perk for me is that they are BPA *and* phthalates free. If you don't know what that it is, Google both terms and it will change your mind about how you use consumable plastics.I experimented with the materials once I received them. The packaging is very simple with just the stack and Ape branding tag you see in the picture loosely on top. There's no annoying stickers that you have to peel off or watch decay over time! The containers are as simple as it gets. I also appreciate how well the lid contours with the package. For some reason, other tupperware brands like sucked in lids that reduce space inside your containers when you have those angular, solid kinds of foods! These Ape container lids actually accommodate for food size. The lid also tucks in nicely underneath the container when you want to put it somewhere when eating on the go.I also tested the dish washer on this. I have a Kitchen-aid, so it washes my dishes intensely even under normal settings. I put both the container and the lid to see how well it would wash from the washer. When it came out, the container was fine, but the lid was slightly warped, just like how other tupperware brands warp when you try to dish wash the lids. However, the lid was still perfectly functional and seal tight when put back on the container. I'll just hand wash the lids in the future, no biggie.Overall, I'm happy with the containers and will find a lot of use out of it storing leftovers, planned meals, and taking lunch on the go. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars I do enjoy this product *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2016* I do enjoy this product. I am a big tubberware girl and normally go for that. But in the case of meal prepping the uniform shap and size is great. The lid is not flat so you are not limited to just how but the base is, which is great. But if you are looking for something that will never break and can be super rough with, this is not for you. The plastic is rather thin.
