I applied two coats, if you look up close you can see that it’s covered BUT if you pull back you can’t tell there was damage to the rim. They weren't very deep but the damage was noticeable in two or three areas on the rim. I found the product was easy to use and the color match was good. You might find the masking tape doesn't work well (it kept falling off) but I used blue painter's tape instead. The key is to start slow & thin. Add more paint as needed.
