Review: Great French roast not classic - The picture of the product shows that it contains French roast coffee, but whenever you place the order you have to choose the tab that says classic roast. We are all aware that classic roast is not French roast, but this seller has this confused. So I bought my last three packages this way and all three turned out to be French roast. This coffee is a very strong, great tasting French roast. I always use the 10 ounce setting because it is so strong. Where as with some of the others I have to use eight ounces. I highly recommend this coffee and this coffee isn’t really in a K cup. It’s in a k-pod, but they give it to you and an aluminum folding envelope so it keeps the coffee fresh in the K pods. This is my new favorite organic French roast and I recommend it to you highly and the price is great too even though French roast ordinarily costs more. I hope that the seller fixes their site because they will end up getting a lot more people buying if they do. Have a good one and if you buy this coffee, I’m sure you will love your cup of coffee and it will be a good one!

**Q: Would these be compatible with composting in a Worm Farm?**
A: Our pods are certified for commercial composting. There is currently no North American standard or certification for backyard or vermicomposting (worm).
However, that hasn’t stopped some of our customers from composting themselves and worms love coffee and help expedite the composting process!

**Q: are these individually wrapped?**
A: Yes & No! I bought a 30 pack of organic Colombian Medium Roast, and they were NOT individually wrapped. Inside of the box of 30 were two foil type packages of 15 pods. BUT sadly the 70 pack of French Dark Roast arrived as a big box of individually plastic wrapped pods...so much for being a greener, plastic-free option to the k-cups. The coffee was great but my heart hurts from the plastic.

**Q: Is the silver bag the pods come in also 100% compostable?**

We have different freshness bag formats across different pack sizes and brands. This particular reusable foil freshness bag is similar to coffee bags used today for ground and whole bean coffee. We are working hard to make our freshness bags compostable too, just like our pods.  Until our new compostable materials are available, this freshness bag is the best type of oxygen barrier to maintain coffee quality, freshness and aroma.

**Q: Is this shade grown**
A: Yes, Arabica coffees purchased by Club Coffee with the exception of Brazil are grown amongst Banana trees and other sub tropical trees for shade and erosion control.

The picture of the product shows that it contains French roast coffee, but whenever you place the order you have to choose the tab that says classic roast. We are all aware that classic roast is not French roast, but this seller has this confused. So I bought my last three packages this way and all three turned out to be French roast. This coffee is a very strong, great tasting French roast. I always use the 10 ounce setting because it is so strong. Where as with some of the others I have to use eight ounces. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing flavor. Only 1 wish list item (make pod Lids paper based rather than resin)

These pods taste amazing. The French brew is full of flavor and full-bodied. Amazing brew. The main reason I got this pod was to get away from plastic leaching chemicals of K-cups. These came up as highly reasonably priced as well as organic grounds. Only problem I found is that the lid (where the pod brand is printed) is made of compostable resin. While not traditional petrochemical plastic, my concerns are the potential for chemical additives, possible leaching when exposed to hot liquids, and the need for industrial composting to ensure proper breakdown. I wish they made it from paper. That way, I can be sure there are no chemical migration or microplastic concerns.
