Needed adapter with the move to everything fire wire 800Wish there were more adapter cables.Wish adapter came in right angle optionAdapter sticks out from tower, with cable attached, tripping hazard.Over all good !

When I got a new computer my camcorder firewire connector did not fit the new firewire port, but this adapter solved my problem instantly. Works great, simple to install, transfer speeds are fine. And this is a great price!
