The locks seem pretty basic and could probably be picked easy. Other than that, a pretty great case!

**Q: Is there another inch of depth in the lid? Is it padded?. A 1.2" difference between interior and exterior...really?**
A: There is an egg carton type sponge  in the lid, it appears to be glued. I haven't removed it, but it is thick enough to gain another inch.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great For Telescope Accessories

I was looking for a small'ish care for my telescope eyepieces and various stuff that I wanted protected when I took it anywhere. I didn't want to pay $70-100 for a branded case when I could get the same for half the price. I was very happy when I saw this in person. Perfect size, perfect weight. Like any kid with a new toy, I was laying everything out how I wanted it, rearranging and doing it again before I started plucking foam. The foam is just right, maybe 1/2" square at the top and roughly 2" deep. It separates easily and cleanly making it easy to get the size you need. At first I was disappointed because when you pull the foam out, there's nothing at the bottom but the case wall. I was thinking it would have been nice to have padding on the bottom like it has in the top. I'm slow, but I realized I could use the foam I plucked by turning it length wise and putting it back in the hole I made. It fits perfectly and provides just the cushion I wanted all the way around, including top and bottom. This is a good value and I recommend it.
