Perfect for indoors and outdoors and soft and supportive enough to prevent major injury which has given her the confidence to do all sorts of gymnastic moves. The size is just right, not too big that it takes up lots of room but big enough to enable her to do larger moves. Because of the energentic moves she does I personally wouldn't of wanted a smaller one. Delivery was quick and although alarmed at first that it arrived folded in half it soon didn't show it had been.
