I am 56 and have menopausal combination skin, along with mild rosacea and brown spots from too much tanning in the 80's. I also get mild acne so I have to be careful with oils and most foundations for mature skin. I didn't expect much but after using this for just under a week, I've been pleasantly surprised. I have a light olive complexion and ordered the sand shade. The color is about perfect. It's easy to apply with your fingers (I'm not a brush fan) and blends well. The coverage is medium- it does a decent job of camoflauging my redness and sun damage but doesn't fully cover the spots without a concealer. I tend to get shiny so I applied without moisturizer first onto clean skin and it feels plenty moisturizing. It gives a nice glow which is great in the cold, dry winter temps. I'm deducting a star as it doesn't have the lasting power of some more expensive foundations and I can tell that it won't hold up in the humid Kansas City summer. That being said, the spf 50 has not irritated my skin and so far, no breakouts.
