I purchased these canvases in order to avoid going out in the middle of a pandemic and was excited to receive them, when they arrived, all three canvases were stuck together as if they were glued (they were probably packed together before the gesso completely dried). after managing to separate them, there were damages and rips to the front portion of the canvas because of them being stuck together. See images attached. buy at blick, Michaels, wherever else, I will be contacting the seller to receive a refund because this is really not worth it.

I paid no attention to the stretchers when these arrived. I assumed it would be industry standard gage of wood stretchers. The difficulty is the stretchers are not the traditional standard width and thickness. The stretchers are undersized. The industry standard for a sturdy stretcher is 3/4" thick and 1.5" width, to support canvas long term and perhaps more important to provide the substance for adding a frame. These stretchers are only 1/2" thick by 1 and 1/2" wide. They have lots of knots in the pine which makes them weak. If you use the popular canvas clips to hold it in a picture frame, you will find the clips are too big and do not hold these undersized pieces of wood stretcher. Or, if you put screws or nails into or through the stretcher sticks to hold it in a picture frame, you are far more likely to break or split the rather feeble pieces of wood. I would rather spend a bit more money for a standard sized stretcher. The canvas is thinner than standard, too, and thin gesso. This product is no bargain. You may spend less, but get what you pay for, far less than you want. I would not buy these frail things again and cannot recommend them.

I do a lot of painting in my spare time and these are nice and big, had some fun with them. I was a tad concerned when the box arrived as there were a couple of dings and tears in the cardboard, but the canvases were perfect. I painted my version of Cinque Terre, for example! BTW, regardless of whether the canvases you purchase on Amazon or anywhere else for that matter... regardless of whether they're pre-primed with gesso, do yourselves a favor and add a coat or two of gesso before proceeding with your MASTERPIECES!

Do not buy these if you pour paint!!!! I'm warning you! They are flimsy as hell I regret getting them so bad! They may be ok if your just doing traditional painting but DO NOT GET THESE FOR POUR PAINTING!!!!! These are the WORST canvases I've ever used. I have one left and I literally will not touch it. The second one I used I had to cut up a box and place it as support behind the canvas to try and keep it from bending and wobbling after applying the pour paint which then requires me to tilt the canvas in different positions. The first canvas I used is trash because I was caught by surprise by the flimsiness.

All 6 canvases are stretched 1/8" bigger. If you are not framing the canvas, then it wouldn't be an issue. We custom ordered 20x30 frames and didn't fit. We had to have the frames re-done. I am not sure why it doesn't give me the option to upload a picture to the review to prove the measurements of the canvas are bigger than 20". Actual measurements of the ones we received are 20 1/8" x 30 1/8".

What a great bargain. I purchased a case of 6 of the 24" x 36" size, which cost about the same as one canvas at my local art supply store. These canvases do have a little more give in them when painting than some of the other brands I've purchased, but it suits my needs perfectly.These are great for hobbyists looking for decent canvases at a reasonable price.If you're used to painting on a tighter stretched canvas, then you may not enjoy these as much.

These canvases came and I was so excited. They are perfect for my needs (I oil paint and love textures) and you cannot beat the price. They were packaged well. I am an amateur so I do not know what professionals would think of them but I use them to create abstract paintings for my home and love them.Pros:-Price-Packaging-Perfect for an amateur oil painter

I have purchased this Canvas 30 or 4 times in 2 sizes and I am pleased with the purchases. It is a good quality for the cost. I received them carefully packaged with no damage. The price has gone up since I ordered the first time but it is still a great value to practice painting on larger Canvases. I recommend this purchase.
