Firstly, while I do not have a way to objectively measure the improvement in attenuation these provide over the stock pads, I can say that it at least conforms to eyeglasses or eye protection much better than the stock pads. As such, it is reasonable to expect some improvement in sound attenuation performance. Secondly and probably more notable is the increase in comfort. These are very soft and compliant and the difference here is very noticeable. Other considerations are the perfect fit to the Howard Leight Impact Sport and ease of installation. Highly recommend this.
