I wanted good quality led panels for use on a wire rack system for seed starting. I landed on these because they were the only-well reviewed panel I could find which came in the necessary dimensions. I purchased the largest size (11" x 39.4") because it would fit between the upright legs of my wire rack and extend slightly beyond the length of each 3 foot shelf. I purchsed 3. After seed starting I will use these for a planned indoor greenhouse cabinet build that will house my anthurium collection.The build quality of these is excellent and the mechanical output adjustment works well. I started some Jerusalem Artichoke and Apios tubers early this season. I had planned to store them until spring but it became obvious that they were not going to survive until then if I didn't get them planted (They were shriveling and many had become soft with areas of decay). They've been planted in nursery pots about 2 weeks now and the largest plants are already about 6 inches tall. They're going to be blooming by the time they can be planted outdoors at this rate! I've just started my first early seedlings (snapdragons) and will update how well they work for that purpose at a later time.They do get warm, but not so hot that they burn if touched. 3 panels in my 9' x 12' mudroom keep the space warm enough that I won't need heat mats. If you're looking for quality led panels, these appear to function well and are a good value for the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bipar Spectra grow lights are high quality and work very well *by on Reviewed in the United States April 19, 2026* These grow lights are very high-end high quality you can tell when you pull it out of the package they're extremely bright I highly recommend you use a meter app on your phone to set them at the right brightness or you'll burn your plants they're that bright but they work very well consistently reliably and they make your plants grow thick and healthy as opposed to thin and lanky if you have it set right there's no reason your plant should get leggy at all I feel that they are worth the price for these units and they've only improved them on each new model I have four of these and use them strictly for seed starting on a rolling rack system so I love that you can adjust the brightness there's a dial on the side of it to adjust the level of brightness because I can't raise and lower the picture itself so this allows me to reduce the intensity on the young plant so they don't get burned and as the plant grows up closer you can turn it down it comes with a jack that you can link them together to operate on a controller to each one and daisy chain them together ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Peppers Love This Light! *by on Reviewed in the United States February 11, 2026* Upgraded to this light for starting my pepper plants, and so far, all is good. Setting it up was quick and easy, and I'm very pleased with the suspension system. Adjusting the height is so much easier than my old metal-hydride setup.The power cord is a little on the short side, but I was able to adapt my power system. The light does generate some heat, but not nearly as much as my old setup. The dimmer works perfectly and does turn the light off when set to zero. The intensity of the light is amazing! Even when I had it set to 40%, I had to increase the height of the lamp to protect the plants. The 4 X 2 coverage is good, but I do rotate the plants, so everyone gets equal shares. The light is not being used in a grow tent. I do wish that there was a built-in timer though, but that isn't a deal breaker. I just use my old timer.Some have expressed concerns about some of the red LEDs not working or are dim. Those malfunctioning, or dim LEDs are IR emitters. Our eyes are unable to see IR. We sense it as heat.Overall, I'm very pleased with this grow light! I do wish that it was a little bit lighter weight wise, but I only use a grow light for about 2 months out of the year so suck it up buttercup, lol! It will be interesting to see if everything is the same after all of the plants have been transplanted, the light has been put into storage and set up for next year's season. Will it perform the same? I will update if there are any changes, but at this point I'm very pleased and the plants are loving it!
