But this product was shipped with all the proper packaging - even a wooden shipping frame to protect all the edges. I used the hooks to hang the mirror on a door and secured the bottom with Velcro. The standing frame seemed a little weak/not attractive but I always planned to hang it so no big deal. The mirror and the frame are very beautiful. The cherry color and gold beading looks expensive even though it is not. The mirror itself is very clear.
