I know that Nestle has bought several of the smaller chocolate companies in Italy, but kept their names for marketability. All I can say is that the Baci I got were good and fresh. I am from Italy and I think they were of the quality I expected. **Q: only one bag for this price?** A: I know it may seem expensive, but I am from Italy and I can only say that the price is comparable to the Italian price. The Baci I bought through Amazon were fresh. I got cheaper ones through other importers, and they were not as fresh.
