Review: It Works Because It's Practical - After reading about this product, I wasn't sure if it would actually do anything, or if it would merely produce nothing more than a placebo type effect. After about a month of use during routine exercise, I noticed a marked difference in how quickly my breathing recovered when I didn't have the O2 Trainer. And I have only made my way to the fifth resistance cap. This O2 trainer is great because it is a practical size to actually bring along with you in a bag, it does not cover your face like an alien face hugger, cleaning is quick and easy, switching out the resistance caps is straightforward, and it all stores in a simple case. It is easy to bring along and grab before a workout or take along to work. There is nothing to break on it as it's made out of a rubber-type material. This is huge because I can just throw it in a bag and not worry that the bag gets sat on or crushed by something. I don't have to worry about scratching a faceplate or cross-threading a screw-on attachment. It comes in two simple colors, so there is no need to buy an outrageous neoprene sleeve to "hide" your device or anything. Wearing it is intuitive and doesn't require special training or practice. Also, for those who look at other O2 trainers as I did and notice that this device fails to cover the nose, realize that you can breathe out of your mouth, or use the nose clip that is included. All in all, this was a great purchase, affordable, durable, and is actually showing results that I can feel. **Q: Which one is better the 02 trainer or the Elevation Training Mask 2.0? I have asthma so i'm looking for the one that will work best**
A: Well I have the O2 trainer and I've researched some comparison videos if you have asthma probably both are gonna give you a little bit of trouble but I saw on one of the videos that the elevation training mask makes it difficult to breath out which according to bass rutten O2 trainer video isn't as conducive to your training one of the positives about the mask though however is that you don't have to wear the nose clamp thingy on the O2 trainer on the higher levels you WILL have to in order for it to work at it's optimum capacity. **Q: Would this be comparable to just breathing thru your nose?**
A: On the 1st 3-4 air hole sizes, yes, but then as you go smaller and smaller, it gets harder and harder.  Level 12 is basically a giant pin hole.  Also, because I can hear myself breathing, I find it easier to regulate my breathing and make sure my breaths are equal and smooth, which helps a lot too.

**Q: What's the highest elevation it allows?**
A: This product is not related to elevation. Listen to bas rutten himself talk about it, how and when he came up with it, and what it done for himself and many others.

**Q: Why is there 2 different models? Is one older than the other? The more squared one looks like it has a better case and better made**
A: Hello , We only carry the model as in the picture . This is available in Blue and green .
The squared one was an older model and the new one with the round caps is the latest
model . The mouthpiece is improved and the overall usage is better .
