Jim** A: It's less noisy than my former window unit. I don't find it noisy at all. It's just a loud white noise machine. **Q: Is it a single hose or a dual hose AC?** A: this is a single hose AC unit. **Q: can I istall the exhaust by knocking out a small square window pane and replace with precut plexi. old window is made up of glass squares** A: The window kit comes in multiple pieces, so what I would do instead of using plexi is simply use just the part of the kit that the hose attaches to and forget the rest of the pieces. It has a locking mechanism that may be difficult replicate with plexiglass. **Q: Does anyone know how long the window kit is (i.e. how long does it extend)? We have a tall bedroom window and we're trying to see if it would fit.** A: I would say about 5 feet if stretched out.If you mean the window adapter, it comes eith extra extendable panels, I have about a 3 foot window but has enough for maybe 5 feet with all the panels. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/1786161-lg-electronics-lp0814wnr-115-volt-portable-air-conditioner-with-remote](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/1786161-lg-electronics-lp0814wnr-115-volt-portable-air-conditioner-with-remote) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
