Review: makes great gluten free sourdough starter - I bought this to make a gluten free sourdough starter. It worked great but a little to high maintenance for me at this time. The texture is rice texture. Nothing more nothing less. There was no odor other than the sourdough smell which was heavenly! I keep all my GF flours in the fridge or freezer to prevent weevels. When I am ready I will definitely buy again to get the sourdough starter going again and diligently daily pay closer attention to it!

I bought this to make a gluten free sourdough starter. It worked great but a little to high maintenance for me at this time. The texture is rice texture. Nothing more nothing less. There was no odor other than the sourdough smell which was heavenly! I keep all my GF flours in the fridge or freezer to prevent weevels. When I am ready I will definitely buy again to get the sourdough starter going again and diligently daily pay closer attention to it!
