Review: Worked with my Dell Optiplex 7020 - My work computer is a Dell Optiplex 7020. It comes standard with 2 - 4gb sticks of RAM but has 4 spots for RAM. I was able to add these easily and they have been working for over a month. Packaging was sturdy and the sticks were well secured so they wouldn't move and be damaged in transit.

After reading conflicting reports of instant system compatibility with memory upgrades on the 3010 series, I decided to update the bios (which hadn't been updated since 2013) and all other suggested drivers from Dell before install. Upon startup, the machine informed me that the system memory had changed and suggested a diagnostic scan of the new memory and a DST HD test via SupportAssist. About 14 hours later, the diagnostic scan and the 'long DST' completed and the PC restarted. Runs great. ~60% utilization while running Auto/CAD, which was the intent.

My work computer is a Dell Optiplex 7020. It comes standard with 2 - 4gb sticks of RAM but has 4 spots for RAM. I was able to add these easily and they have been working for over a month. Packaging was sturdy and the sticks were well secured so they wouldn't move and be damaged in transit.

After reading conflicting reports of instant system compatibility with memory upgrades on the 3010 series, I decided to update the bios (which hadn't been updated since 2013) and all other suggested drivers from Dell before install. Upon startup, the machine informed me that the system memory had changed and suggested a diagnostic scan of the new memory and a DST HD test via SupportAssist. About 14 hours later, the diagnostic scan and the 'long DST' completed and the PC restarted. Runs great. ~60% utilization while running Auto/CAD, which was the intent.
