Featuring authentic sound clips of the ever-popular Harry Potter characters, this 37-piece train set is sure to delight boys and girls and Harry Potter fans of all ages. This extra-large Hogwarts Express licensed train set comes set comes with a 32 piece track (24 curved plastic track pieces and 8 straight track pieces) and a four piece train. The train comprises 1 x locomotive engine with a working light, 1 x engine tender and 2 x train carriages and also comes with a remote control (requires 3 x AAA batteries, not supplied). It features 6 movie announcements (‘I’m Ron by the way, Ron Weasley’, ‘I’m Harry, Harry Potter’, ‘Anything from the trolley, dears?’, ‘You’re Harry Potter, I’m Hermione Granger’, ‘Now, uh, you train leaves in ten minutes. Here’s your ticket. Stick to it, Harry, it’s very important. Stick to your ticket!’ and ‘But Hagrid, there must be mistake, this is Platform 93/4. Review: Great, big, and loud, still love it - Pros: detail is better than most, looks great baby loves it going round, wheels move etc. Cons: as others said it’s bigger than you expect, and you need a lot of space round a tree to make it go round the bottom of a Christmas tree but that dims are available. Also would be nice if have a volume control, or way for it to move without train audio, it’s a sensory event for sure. Despite cons we love it and would recommend.

With most train sets nowadays it would benefit from extra straight track as what comes in the pack is a very small oval considering the size of the loco. **Q: Is this the set that's closer to G Scale or is it small ?**
A: its is a large train set much bigger than Hornby type sets

**Q: Can you turn the volume off of the train while running?**
A: We haven't tried this train yet but my son had the polar express train from Lionel last christmas and the overall train noise on that one can't be turned off ..... although there are individual noises that are controlled from the handheld unit that obviously are then controllable.  I hope this helps

**Q: What gauge is the track? Is it 45mm or 55mm?**
A: 45mm

**Q: Why does it beep? When it is turned on it has a constant beeping noise and is not linking to the controller**
A: When you switch the loco on it beeps until the remote is switched on. Then it changes to the puffing sound when it is switched on. If switching on using the slide switch on the side of the remote you will  eed to check the remote battery strength or correct orientation

Pros: detail is better than most, looks great baby loves it going round, wheels move etc. Cons: as others said it’s bigger than you expect, and you need a lot of space round a tree to make it go round the bottom of a Christmas tree but that dims are available. Also would be nice if have a volume control, or way for it to move without train audio, it’s a sensory event for sure. Despite cons we love it and would recommend.

This trainset is fantastic and much larger than I anticipated but this a nice surprise.
