CAP Barbell Olympic Ultra-Lite Training Bar

Great Bar. I love it. Perfect just for my size hands (female). I like the weight of it too. The only draw back is the grip is very rough and tore up my hands the first time i used it. I have since sanded it and it seems to be perfect! Great product and definitely worth the money!

Didn't have much experience with the many types of Bars out there but needed something sturdy and looks good. I didn't want to spend $300 on a bar. After an extensive research, I found this Bar's older brother (45 lbs) and I loved it. my clients love it too and so when I wanted a lighter bar for my female clients, I had to order this one and I am very happy with it. Very solid construction, nice knurling and great rotation.

This is really good bar! We found a bar that was 6 foot, but would fit on our rack. Would recommend if you are in a tight space. Very good value for the money as well. The only problems are that it comes with this sticky material on the bar and it was a pain to get open. Other than that I would definitely recommend. Also very fast shipping!!!!

Barbell started rusting shortly after I received it. Now I need to repaint it. Other than that, it's a great barbell.

I write this after some joyful squats. So happy with this bar. After receiving a less- than awesome EZ curl bar from CAP , I was a little apprehensive. It arrived a week earlier than I expected (thank you, Seller!) and the packaging, while a little roughed up was good enough to hold a barbell inside it.I, like probably most pre-Covid average gym goers, did not ever put so much thought into a barbell. The length was a tricky one, when I realized that many are 7' plus which would be awkward to yield in my 8'4" basement designated workout space.This is short enough to yield easily in a smaller room and yet RACKABLE, reasonably priced, and feels good in my (tiny) hands.

Got it as a gift for our son. It’s very sturdy and he’s happy.

I was ecstatic to find a Made in the USA bar with a 300lb capacity. Well it is neither. The bar is made in Taiwan. Also, on the CAP website, it lists the bar capacity at 200lbs and not 300lbs. Seriously upset, but Amazon CS was good to deal with and made right. The bar is about a 28mm diameter. It is in no way 25mm as I have had a 25mm womans bar before.Other than that, it is a little sister to the OB86BCAP Barbell Olympic Bar, 2-Inch, 1000-Pound Capacity, 7-Feet so if you like that bar, but want something a little smaller and lighter, than this fits perfectly. The knurl, sleeves, everything is the same which is a good thing. I posted some pics to compare against my old school and new school CAP OB86B's.As for the phalate chemicals, just wash your hands after working out.

Really nice 6 ft bar for the price. I was afraid the quality would be low, but doesn’t seem to be. I use the bar on my squat rack. The lower weight is just what I was looking for.
