**Q: Is there a timer or not?  One customer says she loves that it has a timer.  Another says there isn't one.  Which is it?**
A: There is a single button. If you posh it once it stays on for 6 hours and stays off for 18 hours and then beck on again. You can stop the timer while the lights are lit by pushing the button-- Some of these guys should try reading the instructions.

**Q: does this have to be plugged in or does it use batteries?**
A: I ordered this same wreath thinking it was battery operated as stated in the comments, but it was not. It had an electrical cord for power. Not what I wanted. Still very nice.

Product worked perfectly all season with no problems. Received good comments on how good the display looked. To open battery box (find open sign) press down and lid skids back.
