Looked around at chests and other things and finally found this. Ordered it, got it and installed it in about 10 minutes. Now my items are secured from sticky fingers. This won't keep out someone who's determined to get your stuff (It's not a safe), but it will deter thieves who are looking for an easy grab. It's also not waterproof, but if you're looking for a waterproof cubby accessory, look elsewhere. All in all, this is a great product that does it's job and doesn't look terrible while doing it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great add on for security when the top is off. Especially when hidden under the back mat *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2013* I like it the only change I would make is to add some bugger for the lid that quiets the rattle for those that take out the carpet. Also when I installed the lock the mechanism holds the door so if anything is placed on top the weight may bend the lock. That hasn't happens so I can't complain. Otherwise great item. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Worst Tuffy Product - Requires modifying your Jeep *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2012* I have owned a couple other Tuffy products (Jeep TJ Underseat Drawer and a CJ Glove Box), loved them, and this is by far severely underwhelming.First, they don't tell you that you will no longer be able to use your existing plastic liner that I enjoy and will now succumb the paint to scratches. You'll also need to toss your OEM cover because they decided not to incorporate it either. Next, you're going to need to clamp two pieces of metal together over the paint on your jack area, not too tight though or it will slip apart. Go ahead and start cutting up your carpet to fit a couple of tiny screws to "bolt" down the lid and if you're lucky you won't have to drill out holes in your floorboard because the OEM ones don't line up with their product. This is where I drew the line and didn't continue the installation (sadly, I cut my carpet a few inches out of hope it lined up). The instructions explicitly tell you to drill! Why not make this to fit the model they sell it for? $165 for a piece of metal that is not designed appropriately? C'mon Tuffy... do you really expect me to drill into my '12 Rubi floorboard?This is a horrible design and really does not seem to be secure. An Allen wrench, a crow bar and some damage to your Jeep and they will have the contents you thought were secure.
