**Q: Can i use this cable to connect my 100w allpowers solar solar charger to my goalzero yeti 400?**
A: I connected my 100W Renogy panel to my GoalZero Yeto 1000 with no problem. I would think as long as your panel has the common connector that all solar panels have today and your version of the Yeti has the 8mm input like mine, it will be fine. I just would like to find an extension cable for the connector so I can keep my Yeti stored in the garage and have the panel outside.

**Q: Is it always red to red and black to black when connecting these cables? My solar panel is opposite.**
A: If you are using an extension cable, then turn it end for end.   Otherwise, you’ll need a voltmeter to make sure.  Could possibly be the leads on your panel are backwards.
