Review: Proper stuff, sorted my dryer out! - Finally got round to replacing the rubbish old ducting on me tumble dryer, the old one was practically made of cobwebs and hope. This AC Infinity stuff is a different kettle of fish altogether! It's really sturdy, you can tell its got those four layers they talk about. Was a bit of a wrestle getting it connected up, like trying to tame a shiny silver python, but once it was on with a couple of jubilee clips, it felt solid. The 8 feet length was more than enough, had a bit to spare. Dryer seems to be working more efficient now too. Well chuffed.

This ducting is perfect, I cut it to the desired length with a sharp knife and wire cutters, attached both ends with jubilee clips and they work a treat. **Q: What is the fully compressed length of the 8FT 4" diameter duct?**
A: 5 1/2 inches

**Q: Is this safe to vent a portable ac? ac's can get really hot.**
A: I've never owned a portable AC. If there is a 4"  circle shaped vent hole on the portable AC, it should tolerate the heat. Stationary ACs condensate water, there is no vent hole.

**Q: anyone use this for garage auto exhaust tube?**
A: I am currently using this to exhaust the air in my wood shop

**Q: Is this suitable for marine use?**
A: No paperwork came with it indicating whether it is USCG compliant (if there is such a requirement).  If you want to use it as a duct for a bilge blower, I would say go ahead and use it.  If you are concerned about fire retardancy, I suggest you contact the seller first.
