For instance the door is meant to swing and be easy to get into so how tight could it be, well not very tight if it swings, of course. We used it to put our bird seed into as it is easy to get the food out with a small little shovel and use the swinging door? We use the bird seed up so quickly that we are not at all worried about freshness question, so there again the questions do not really apply to this product.The question should have been phrased in this way, any good points, or any bad points period. You would get more from the answers if this method was applied here.
