Clear, bright, smooth focus wheel and solidly built. This time, for the sake of the extra £20 also I thought I might as well go for the ED version. I can’t really tell the difference between these and the previous ones, however, they are still excellent binoculars, solid feel, well built. I use them by the sea to watch the shipping and I have been very happy with them. I would recommend.

These binoculars are great for the price. Although they are not a premium brand they hit a sweet spot for quality and affordability. The lenses have great clarity with no discernable fringing. Colour is very well preserved too. They are sturdily built with well a well engineered hinge. The focus dial has a satisfyingly smooth action. I'd recommend these to someone who is just looking for great value or is an occasional user for whom quality is important but doesn't want to break the bank for something that will sit in a drawer for months not being used. Recommended
