Make sure they aren’t touching anything that is potentially flammable. If they are running to hot for the location they are in to be safe you may need diodes with a higher amperage rating. Mine run a little warm at 8 amps but hasn’t been an issue. **Q: Can you run two of these parallel to support 30A at 48V?** A: Yes and no. Two in parallel will double amperage handling but not voltage. Also note the close you get to the peak rating of a diode, the hotter it will get and in turn fail sooner. I would recommend getting a diode with a higher voltage rating. **Q: Can it use for 12 volts?** A: Yes. The diodes are rated for a maximum of 45 volts. They will handle anything up to that. **Q: Is thr 45v reverse the allowed amt to flow back into the panel even if the panel outputs 40v ? Will the diode allow the 40v to pass in one direction?** A: The diode blocks/allows whatever voltage it is connected to up to a maximum of 45 volts. Putting a 45 volt rated diode in a 40 volt circuit does not mean the voltage passing through the diode will increase to 45 volts.
