They have a slightly smaller notebook (5 1/2" x 4") that may work. I would suggest the 5 x 3" notebook. They have both a spiral notebook (spiral wire on the side) and a 5 x 3" spiral notepad (spiral at the top). The notepad would probably be easiest with the spiral being at the top wouldn't fight on the way in/out of the pocket. **Q: Does this have a clear plastic pocket on the inside?** A: It has a pocket, but it is not clear plastic. There are two pockets on front and back of the heavy first inside page.
