Kinda fruity and does not leave a terrible tanning bed smell when you're done. There was no streaking when applying the lotion and I never washed my hands after applying and my hands didn't turn orange. They might tint a little but nothing noticeable, I did get a nice golden tan from this lotion. I tan kind of easy if I go often anyway but I would say the lotion sped up the process.
