Finding a store with distilled water to do the calibration was horrible. Finally found some and after the calibration was done. It was been accurate enough for my plants and they are very happy. Shocked by the house ph levels but our RO system is working well. I really appreciate getting a device that does what it says. Also make sure to shake the water off well with a good strong swing if you are checking multiple sources. It makes a difference. Just dont hit it on anything. Just swing like you put your finger in a hot pot. Quick and strong. Other than that it's exactly what I hoped for. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Would not calibrate correctly and became junk; be sure to test when you get it *by J***K on Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2020* I bought this as a backup for a very similar unit with a different brand name. Unfortunately I put off calibrating it until the other unit started failing, only to discover that this one could not be calibrated. I was able to get through the first reference liquid 6.86, but then it simply refused to accept data from the second and third reference samples. It was impossible to calibrate anything but 6.86 (and I know how to do it because the other unit works the same way). Even the 6.86 calibration is useless: the unit does not measure ph even remotely accurately. Meanwhile the return period is over so I just have to eat it and find another one quickly. I gave it a few stars only because this represents a sample of one and they did not have a chance to make good on it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Works good...when they work *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2020* So here's the issue with these. Ive bought 6. Only 3 have worked. The reason i give them a 3 out of 5 still is when they work they are far faster and just as acurate as much more expensive units ive owned. Plus they seem to keep working a good long while.
