Any way to solve the issue?** A: Not sure why they smell like tires or have a chemical odor (maybe because its rubber?). It does seem to smell less almost 2 weeks later but they do still smell. Not sure if washing will help but it's worth a shot. **Q: What is in the box for the standard box set w/ cymbal & bass? specifically, how many cymbal mutes come with it? thank you.** A: The standard box set includes mute sizes to fit 12-13-16 Inch toms, a 14 Inch snare, a cymbal mute, a 20 Inches ride mute, a 14 Inches hi-hat mute and the size adjustable soundoff bass mute. **Q: My two hanging toms have sizes of 10" and 12", will these still work?** A: The 12" pad will work with the 12" tom, but you'll need to purchase a separate pad for the 10", or if you're not using the 13" or 14" pad you could cut it down to size. **Q: They slide off the drum head. How Can I keep them in place other than duct tape messing up the head surface?** A: Huh. I've never had that problem, but I keep my drum heads at a relatively flat angle, and my hoops have always had sufficient height to hold these pads on. They aren't really meant to adhere to a really steep drum with low hoops, if that is your set up. You could try elastic or adjustable velcro ties to wrap around the drums, over the edges of the head where you would be less likely to strike regularly. Or, use a tape that could stick to the rims, but not the head - but I am not sure what would work that wouldn't leave a residue on the rim, either. Getting taller hoops is probably a tough fix, and you might not want tall hoops if playing without these pads on. Great quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality, but not great feel *by J***E on May 10, 2020* These work pretty well, but don’t offer much damping, and they don’t feel great. They also don’t seem to really offer any rebound, which is understandable since there isn’t much support to them, however I’ve found that other brands mite pass, especially thicker ones, will offer you a slightly better stick feel. The kick pad doesn’t seem to be very durable either. The one thing I found to be exciting and very effective was the fitted covers for the ride and hats. Those were actually very effective for the damping and still allowed maintaining the original feel of the cymbal. If you’re looking for a good quiet setup With a realistic feel I’d consider doing their Soundoff Mesh Heads instead.
