Great lettering pen
Really good kurataki pen. Nice dark ink smooth lines.

My new favorite pen
This thing is seriously great, I was a little skeptical about how different it'd be from your typical papermate felt tip pen but I decided to buy one to find out and I don't think I can ever go back. The tip is very fine and pointy but if you draw with the side of it you can get thicker lines, so you can get a wide range of line weights which is really nice. I mostly use it for drawing, but this pen has become an essential tool for all kinds of things, I don't go anywhere without it. Also, although it's definitely less important than it's ability to be used for drawing and writing, it feels super sturdy and looks very nice with the gold lettering and little bits of glitter on the blue. I don't write amazon reviews often, but this is seriously one of my favorite things I've ever bought and I'd reccommend it in a heartbeat.

I love this pen
Last summer I got into Japanese brush pens. This one has a nice, soft tip that allows for excellent lettering as well as doodling, if that’s your thing. The color is solid and doesn’t bleed too badly, so long as you don’t push too hard.

The Brush Tip Pen Is Mightier Than Than The Gel Pen
If you're someone that likes to write with some flair or journals a lot, brush pens are amazing to use. This high quality brush pen is very enjoyable to use. It has a hard nib but you can alter the line width of what you write very easily depending on the pressure applied. The tip is also resilient and doesn't soften or diminish the release of ink when writing. Brush pens with inconsistent ink or easily deformed brush tips are an annoyance and I'm glad to say this pen is not like that. This is a brand that makes an great alternative to the ubiquitous gel tip pens that you might be little bored of using.

Pen lasted 4 years
I used this sparingly for 4 years and its still going strong. I drew with the pen recently (see photo) and looked it up only to find out I bought it in 2018..was shocked it hadnt completely dried out. Its comfortable to draw with and easy to get a variation of line width. A favorite for sure.

Best for Ink Sketching
This is my favorite kuretake branded pen for sketching. I use this for a ton of sketches, and I'm going through my fourth one. I use this along with the kuretake fudegochi pen. Personally, I use this in different ways, but this one provides an ink flow that can very from very thin to thick. It's very versatile and I use it for portraits, anatomy drawings, in my moleskine art journal. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes to sketch or draw in ink.

EFFICIENT
the tip is made of silicone and is just like a calligraphy brush but in pen form. it takes a little while to dry when on paper, but excellent quality. it is good for calligraphy and good for drawing certain things. it is a Japanese import, s it might take some time to arrive if in America. overall, great use and also good for outlining things with depth.
