It has a volume potentiometer which is a great feature. I originally used this to create a custom Halloween prop and now it serves my 5 year old playing Ghostbusters from his proton pack. It will play 1 mp3 file providing the mp3 file does not exceed the memory. The files can be changed at your discretion quickly and easily. I only saw one other mention in the reviews and they had clearly had an unsafe interaction that supposedly cost them their laptop. I don't understand why the product arrives with the wires cut. There wasn't a mention of this in the product description or the extra work/help needed to connect them together safely and securely. I was lucky enough to find someone who helped me out but I feel like this should have been stressed at the beginning.
