Review: Best Value - As a disclaimer, I have not shot my Glock 17 with this on yet, so my rating and review excludes that experience. If it causes me any trouble down the road, then I will be sure to update this review. First of all, I previously had an Insight M3X light on my Glock 17 Gen 3, and they retail for $195. I'm a Marine and I am very particular about my gear, and quality is important to me. The light was solid in every aspect, but it was the old model bulbs and it had a terrible reflector with blind spots so I sold it. This light may not be quite a tough, but for $38 you can't beat it. The light bulb and reflector are flawless. It is extremely bright and no blind spots. The switch is a bit further away from my trigger finger than it was on the Insight, but not enough that I have to change my grip or use my weak hand. My trigger finger still reaches the on switch from my natural grip. The off switch is simply toggling it back towards the left side of the gun, so you'll need your weak hand for that, but turning it off is not the critical part of operation, turning it on it. It fits like a glove on my Glock 17 Gen 3, and it it installs and removes easily with no sticking or prying. When the light is on the rail, it does not budge even a hair. It fits perfect, just like my $200 light. You can't beat it for the money, especially considering that I could buy 5 of these for the price of one Insight. I'm not a cheap budget guy, but for home defense, this works. If your goal is to depend on this with your life in harsh environments, weather, and combat elements, then it might not be the right light (though I can't say for sure) but for most practical and tactical uses... it's $38 well spent.
Review: For the price, its as perfect as one can get. - I bought this as basically a backup light. I have higher end lights on most of my guns, but figured for the price it couldn't hurt to have a spare. Turns out, it's nice enough that I I use it more often than my expensive lights. It's very bright yet not too bright that if you have sleeping eyes it will blind you reflecting off your walls. Has a nice Center with the perfect amount of spill that you can see alot around you. It's very sturdy too. Honestly one of the reasons I use it as much or more often than my more pricey lights is because I don't mind beating it up. And I've beaten the piss out of it. I've shot hundreds of rounds with it mounted, dropped it a few times and knocked it around. After it kept working I decided tk test it and literally threw it around my stone driveway a fee times and it still works great. I've heard some peo pool le had them fail, and they were replaced promtply, which is great, but I don't think you have to worry about breaking it. I also live the attachment method. It's nice and easy and quick. I switch it between firearms regularly and even use it as a regular flashlight often. It fits on rifles, my sig, my glocks, amd a few other guns. The battery lasts a long time and using only one 123 is nice. There are SOME downsides though. Due to the way it mounts, it won't fit on smaller handguns. The back of the light will hit the trigger guard before it can engage in a rail slot. The on off bottom is nice but on every handgun I use it seems JUST A LITTLE too far for my to easily turn on with my trigger finger, and I'm 6'3" and don't have small hands or short fingers. Other than that though it's absolutely awesome. Good enough that those shorts don't seem a problem at all. All defensive or offensive forearms should have a light on them. This is cheap enough that you dint have an excuse. Go buy one or five.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it made of aluminum or plastic?**
A: It's made of aluminum

**Q: Has anyone tried this with a 12 gauge automatic shot gun and if so how does the recoil effect the mounting and the light?**
A: I have mine mounted to an XD .40 service model and the one major draw back to this product is the pin that holds the quick release lever. After about 350 rounds through the weapon w/ the light attached the pin began to back itself out. It's a quick fix with a spring pin but it is something to keep an eye on. Hope this helps.

**Q: What is the overall length of this item?**
A: 3 and 1/16 inches

**Q: is there any estimate of "constant on" battery life?**
A: W, I own 2 of these- although mine are Nebo Pro-Tec tac lights- they are the same light with the same battery and mount. In my experience, after accidentally leaving one on, it was just as bright after about 45 min. I had replaced the original battery with a new generic alkaline about a week previous. I think that's pretty good, and I do carry extra batteries inside the foregrip of my 9mm AR. Hope this helps. I should send you a photo of it

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Light but Fit & Finish....
*by J***T on February 8, 2014*

I like the light... tried the strobe on my wife and she was seeing spots for 15 min afterwards... so was I, but from being whacked by a frying pan :-) Brightness is good @ 250 lumens and the strobe function is a great option - and the CR 123 battery is easy to find. The fit and finish is good everywhere except the pin - which retains the spring loaded locking lever that snaps into the indent on the rail. The pin slipped out on mine. (The pin in question can be seen in the picture just above and to the right of the lettering). I will mix up a bit of JB Weld and put a dab at each end of the pin so it cant escape. This light will NOT fit on a Springfield XD9-SC, or a Sig Mosquito, or a Ruger SR 22. I ended up buying a bit of rail and attaching the light to the fore stock of my 20ga. Here is a link to that YouTube vid.... [...] Also, be advised, if you don't have at least 1-5/8" between the front of your trigger guard and the first bar indent on your rail then this light will likely not fit on your gun. For the price, this is a good light... bright, strobe, easy manipulated on/off switch, easy to find battery and good price.
