Review: It sticks like glue in a good way. - This works amazingly; it stays put even on hot, sticky days when I'm out and about, after showering, and even after an occasional dip in a friend's pool. I had been using large, waterproof patch bandages, but they would fall off and the patch I was wearing had to be thrown out. This not only sticks very well, but I also don't have any skin irritation. Review: Best Medical Tape Ever for Diabetic devices - I have tried many other types of medical tape in the past 10 or so years I been using my pump and cgm. Some would not stick at all. Some would fall off before 24 hours passed. Some lasted a couple days. Some gave me nasty rashes. I found this flexifix tape and fell in love. I am back for more. My last roll I ordered in April or May and finally needing to reorder. I use a little bit with every site change for my insulin pump and every cgm change. It stays on the entire life of the infusion set or sensor (3 days, a week) and I have to pull it off its still stuck there. In the summer months or when I will be in a lot of water I put mastisol under it and it works great. The top clear grid layer (that pulls off after you stick it on) is great so you can cut in a straight line to the size you need. For around my infusion set I use 4 pieces that are 2 grids wide (the full 2 inch length) and place it around all 4 sides of my infusion set. For my glucose sensor I cut three 2 grid wide pieces and place around the top of the sensor to anchor it in as the sensor doesn't have a lot of tape there. Then I place a small piece about 3-4 grids markings back under where my transmitter will lay to prevent the transmitter from irritating my skin. Then I cut 2 longer pieces and place one over the top of the sensor and one over the back side of the transmitter. I do not fully cover it as I noticed in the past when I did I would sweat under it and it had no where to go and would make the tape fall off...I wonder if thats some of the problem others complained about. I swim, shower, use hot tubs, etc with this tape and never have an issue. I have very sensitive skin and reacted to other products by this company and I do not react at all to this tape. Please Smiths and Nephew do not discontinue this tape.

**Q: For use with a Dexcom CGM, do you totally cover the sensor/transmitter with flexifix, or do you cut it to just go over the sensor's adhesive?**
A: Hi, I use mine on the miinmed CGM sensor transmitter. I cover the adhesive, sensor, and transmitter completely with the tape. IT keeps the setup secure and it provides an extra layer of protection in the shower etc. I cut to pieces long enough to cover the set up. For me it take two overlapped pieces to cover everything.

**Q: Is the opsite flexigrid & the opsite flexifix the same material with the only difference being the size and shape of the product?**
A: Not sure what you are referring to! 
This is a medicated tape. You cut the size you need and peel back the first layer, the sticky side goes on wound. And than peel last layer off.

**Q: I've found it very hard to separate the film from the tape -- has anyone found an easy way to remove the top film once the tape is applied?**
A: Before peeling off the side that goes on your skin, lift up a little bit of the corner (s) of the top tape so that it'll be easier to peel that too. For the top tape, I peel a little bit from the middle seam (not from the outer edge)

**Q: How do I easily remove this tape? I used it on my child to help keep his insulin pod on. It works great. My adhesive remover did not help remove it.**
A: Adhesive remover is not a good choice. You have to remove it just like tape, find a corner and pull it up.  If that doesn't work try to remove the device it's helping to secure. I've never had any problems removing the tape but it is sometimes difficult to get it started. Stay with it because it's very good at securing my CGM

"Keep exercising normally" and "wear this sticky thing for two weeks" are incompatible statements. This stuff works way better than whatever slime tape they ship with the Bardy monitors. Of course, prep is key. Clean your skin thoroughly with some prep pads and let your skin dry completely before applying. There is no getting around it being itchy and uncomfortable, but at least it's doing what it's supposed to be doing.
