I am a definite UK size 16 and I ordered XL, its a loose fit but I prefer my tops loose, I would say the XL is a UK size 18.I've just washed and ironed it and it washes well but it does crease easily. This is a well made top, material feels of a good quality and it has a little stretch. It washes well, does not shrink or bleeds the colour (Mine is turquoise). Alike other reviews I can say the sizing is very generous. I am somewhere in between 16-18 tops depending of fabric and cut. I am quite top heavy if you know what I mean, so I went for an XL and fits perfect. Not too baggie or tight, it was just right for me so I bought two for the time being. Maybe will buy more if work can keep on going during the covid time. The front pockets are very useful for keeping your phone, sanitizing gels. It has a little pocket for a pen too.
