When things don't work try readin' the instructions. Bought & read lots more stuff, and already had a bunch on hand. This book is the best of the lot, IMHO. Why? Because it explains things from the mule's point of view and tells in considerable detail why they see things the way they do. Not written in textbook style, it is an enjoyable book to read, which I liked. She's still a diamond in the rough~ but I've made progress with Maggie Mule, largely due to understanding gained from things discussed here. This book will teach you how your mule thinks and will help you understand your mule better so that you can have the best relationship with your long-eared friend. I got this book shortly after I purchased my best mule friend. After reading this book I can predict her actions, understand her reasoning and we have the best relationship!!! I do have a wonderful mule, however our bond and my new understanding of the mule keeps our bond growing stronger and stronger.
