Not only is it beautiful and great for the price, but it seamlessly matches my Ikea "black-brown" furniture. My ONLY complaint is that the bottom might scratch the surface of whatever it is sitting on, so perhaps invest in some felt buffers or something. She had a floor model jewelry box with very little in it. It was a waste of room space. This box was just the right size for someone who does not want a lot of clutter. It is attractive and holds plenty of jewelry, assuming your do not want to collect a lot of stuff. She collects only things she really likes. And that's a shame because it's absolutely gorgeous. The color was perfect and matched perfectly our bedroom furniture. But it's size and capacity are misleading. Although it seems like there would be enough drawers to hold a lot of jewelry, the drawers are rather small and compartmentalize. There is only one large drawer and it is limited to the amount of jewelry that it can hold.My wife found that she needed to replace an older jewelry box that she had had for years. It was simply a rectangular box with a removable shelf. And even though it was not very well organized it held everything that she needed because of its depth.I guess the problem is not with the jewelry box itself, but with the style of box and its small drawers.
