Review: It's all about Thrust Control. - It is a caulk gun. It pushes caulk. The handle is steel, the action is smooth, and the cartridges fit like they should. If you forget to adjust the thrust, you will drip from the tip. Once that starts, it will not stop. You can wipe, you can shake, you can curse. Nothing helps. Just a mess. Set the thrust correctly and it behaves. Clean lines, no surprises, no shame. Ignore it and you will learn why the option is there. certainly the best caulk gun I've owned, and I've seen a lot of caulk in my time...all-powerful deity willing, this is the last.
Review: Solidly made and easy on the hands - I've tried out several types of these, and this is the easiest to use so far. The gears make it easy to push stiffer materials out and the rotating barrel also is nice to keep the tip the direction you want. It took a couple of times to get the knack of releasing the pressure to not get continued dribble, but it wasn't too hard to do once I caught on. I may have to get a spare in case someone "borrows" this and it doesn't make it back to my area.
