I like this make up a lot!! As for choosing a color, I chose "Ivory" and was not disappointed. I'd recommend that if you usually buy "Ivory" colored foundations and/or have ever used the "Light" or "Fairly Light" shades in the Bare Minerals line(as I have), I'd advise you choose the "Ivory" shade in this Bella Terra mineral makeup as well. It has worked great for me!

I've been using Bella Terra foundation for about two years. I have very sensitive skin and this foundation works like magic. It covers up acne scars and this gives me flawless looking skin. I won't use anything ever again. It's a little pricey but it lasts me about six months. I only need to apply it in the morning and it lasts until the end of the day. 10/10 would recommend!

Wow! I have only had this product less than 24 hours. I have acne prone skin + scarring (image shown with acne for reference, in that photo I do have on primer).During this quarantine period of 3 months or so (California), I haven't been doing my makeup much. However the few times I was doing my makeup I realized I must have an allergy to my makeup. My skin crawls with any kind of SPF, & I would notice a breakout within a couple of days after wearing my makeup. big cystic pimples that were not just sore, but also very itchy.I was searching online for hypoallergenic makeup. A quick Google search & I came across this product. I was skeptical about choosing a color. I have olive-tan skin, it's difficult to match.I bought Nutmeg. I was shocked that it matches perfectly. When I first looked at the container it looked very dark. It goes on much lighter than it looks. And even more surprisingly a little goes a long way. It is buildable. It covers my scars & existing breakout.I'm curious if my skin will clear up because my skin is not crawling right now. Usually by the end of the day with most makeup, my skin is so itchy & I can't wait to wash all my makeup off.This product went on smooth, didn't feel cakey. I still had a bit of oil 5 or 6 hours after initial application, which is actually pretty good because usually I need to blot my face every few hours.There's 2 photos I've included from today, taken minutes apart, one with my bathroom lighting, you can see my olive tan skin tone, see how this makeup matches perfectly, I can tell by looking at my neck. And one photo in front of a big window sun shining through, so daylight. You can see the coverage compared to the 3rd photo which shows my acne/scars. The coverage is really amazing. Feels light.

Bella Terra mineral foundation powder is the only foundation I have worn that does not noticeably aggravate my skin to the point of looking worse than the original conflict to begin with. There are no questionable ingredients and it has a gentle non-greasy feel, so I can casually wear it and not feel overly concerned about the health of my skin with prolonged exposure. I'm deeply satisfied with this product and haven't purchased another foundation since discovering this one.

Bella Terra is my go-to mineral foundation. As a black American woman who knows how difficult it is to find makeup in the proper shade, this matches perfectly and I'm a loyal customer. Working in cosmetics, I've tried A LOT of brands, looking for something not chock-full of questionable chemicals, and this wins hands-down. I think the coverage is much improved when using a primer (I use the Bella Terra primer, and although I prefer a pump rather than a jar for hygienic reasons, it's definitely a keeper). My skin is very problematic; oily and prone to acne (cystic, whiteheads and milia) but using the non-comedogenic primer under concealer (Nars) and topping it off with this foundation doesn't make me breakout or look greasy. Living in a humid, sunny and hot climate, this is very important so I'm so glad I've finally found something natural-looking that does the trick with gentle formulation in a precise hue for dark skin. Did I mention how great it is to find this online so as to avoid the unbelievable markup and highly annoying pushy sales reps in the mall kiosks?

This isn't the same color that I bought in the store. I compared my original packaging and color with what I just received and I'm very disappointed. The ingredients aren't even the same. I will be returning. Hopefully I can find the correct color as I don't live in the same city that I bought it in :-(

Seems to be a good product, and for a very fair person with red undertones (dirty blonde hair), the ivory is the right shade for me. I've been happy with this product so far. I've never bought from the mall kiosk people, but as far as I can tell, this seems authentic. If anyone knows what to look for to determine for sure, I'd love to know, but it doesn't make my face break out and it applies like I think a mineral makeup should.
