There is no way to make it fit, the exhaust can is in the way. I emailed the seller and included pictures and a description of the problem, they sent me another crossbar, but the new one did not fit either, after a few more messages they sent me a partial refund. I cant complain about that. I suspect the European version of the crf250l rally has a shorter exhaust that doesn't interfere with the rack.That said, quality looks really good, nice powdercoating and welds, and it is a very lightweight system, I think all the racks and bolts all together is like 8 lbs or less. It replaced a rear top rack from crfsonly the previous owner had installed and the GP top rack was about half the weight, its been solid with a 40 liter bag (~40lbs) strapped to it for a motocamping trip about 5 hrs away on the freeway.Its pretty easy and intuitive to install, but know upfront that the way these side racks mount is with very long bolts that go through sleeves and screw into where the seat bolts and luggage bolts go. The sleeves have a much bigger inner diameter than the bolts themselves so keep everything loose, then tighten em up once you get it all lined up the way you want. The bolts are long and thin enough to make me question whether they will hold up to much weight being hung on the side racks, especially if you're riding off road. Even if you replace them with grade 8's, you'd be putting a ton of force on the mounts they screw into. I'd be worried about breaking them off the subframe in a fall.
