Other wise that's one of the best things I ever bought **Q: can you turn off the mic** A: Don't buy this! It was terrible in video quality. I'm not sure if you can turn off the mic or not. I ended up buying a GoPro in addition to this since i couldn't return it anymore. Hope this helps. **Q: what is the total weight of the cam?** A: Not sure but it's light. Like carrying a fountain pen. **Q: How are pictures transferred to compute? We have one purchased from Amazon and I can't find the original package or instructions.** A: With your USB charging plug. (or the USB plug in) Windows should download, or ask you if you have anything to download, to your machine. Or just open Windows Media Player and click on the drive it's in (usually something like "D drive") and it'll pretty much do all the work. It's a wee bit confusing depending on your computer knowledge. Seeing as its an "action cam" I would hope it would.
