- For 1/2" copper tubing size (5/8" OD): 1/2" copper, 1/2" PEX, 1/2" CPVC pipe (See Sizing Chart)
- Note: Pipe size based on "IPS" such as galvanized iron pipe, black pipe, steel, stainless steel, ABS, and PVC pipe have larger diameter than "CTS" pipe such as copper and PEX, and hence will need to move up from CTS size (see Sizing Chart)
- Hinged split mechanism allows retrofit installation around the pipe
- For concealing gaps around water supply pipe. Open and fit around the pipe! Do not need to remove existing valve!

**Q: What is the full diameter of the escutcheon plate?**
A: The diameter of the plate itself is 2.8 inches.

**Q: Why can't you use this with certain types of pipe (galvanized iron, black iron, pvc, abs, etc)? there is a list on non-compatible pipes in the photo.**
A: The pipe itself is fine, the problem is the size. Iron, PVC, ABS pipe sizes are named according to "IPS", vs. copper and PEX pipe are measured in "CTS".  To be specific, IPS is always bigger than CTS.
For example, 3/4" CTS (for 3/4" copper and PEX) is same size as 1/2" PVC pipe.

**Q: Will it keep out rodents?**
A: I doubt it, rodents will find a way around them.

**Q: How thick is this? How much does it protrude from the wall?**
A: They are very shallow, less than a 1/4” thick.
