One word of caution, the type of CGA connection on a tank does not *always* designate the gas. CO2 tanks and regulators, that typically use a CGA 320 connection, are also available with a CGA 580 connections. Make sure you know what gas you have. I have a medical grade Matheson CO2 two stage regulator with a male CGA 580 tank connection. My gas supplier also offers CO2 tanks with a male CGA 320 to welders -AND- high purity medical grade CO2 with male CGA 580 connectors for laboratory applications. The reason appears to be that CGA 580 connections are also used for mixed gasses. For example, welders will occasionally use mixtures of Argon and CO2 as shield gasses.
