I used a thin-blade screwdriver and a sharpish letter opener to hold the "seam" and work it into the headphone channel. While I had to destroy the old pads to remove them, these new ones fit nicely and snuggly. They even spin once in the channel, so I know the fit is correct. Also: they arrived from overseas in only a couple of weeks--well sooner than desertcart had predicted. Review: Does not fit Labtec Elite-820 headphones. - Too small to fit Labtec Elite-820 headphones. One of the pads fell apart during the installation.
