I threaded through the hole and pushed it in and you can hear the back edge snap into place. My old valve extenders were being cut By the back edge of the holes in the wheel, causing a slow leak. Not any more. Replaced valve extenders and used this product. Relieved that I’m getting a good pressure reading on all the tires and the valve extenders are protected. I did get extenders for the front tires with the kit I got separately. I did not put them on because my current stems are accessible and they are rubber. Advised not to put on the fronts if stems are rubber because if you brush a curve you could damage and get a flat tire. The last thing you want to have happen. Happy motor-homing friends. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Sort of fits *by M***D on Reviewed in the United States on November 17, 2020* The valve extensions on my 2020 International dually were impacting the aluminum rims. I had been on the watch for this. The "lightening holes" through the rims measure 2.25". I purchased this product as it said it works for 2"-2.25" holes.On installation, I saw that the OD of the rubber did not snugly contact the ID if the holes. Lucky, the lips are great enough to prevent movement. I have since installed a TPMS indicator as you can see in the picture so don't think anything is going anywhere especially as the wheel begins to turn.This is the reason for the drop to 2 stars on thickness and 3 stars overall. Time will tell if the grommet stays in place. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recommend this product *by M***A on Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2018* High quality thick rubber, yes I received 2 stabilizers and they are thick, supple rubber. The hole in my wheel is 1 3/4" so I trimmed slightly and it fits tight and in my opinion very neatly. I never found inserts for my size wheel so I made them work. Picture below.
