Seals it better than a nail. **Q: Can this be use to install bathroom faucet and drain to seal it.** A: A comment about using this around a bathroom faucet, something I'm installing now. I've been reading that regular plumber's putty can't be used successfully on plastic. A 100% silicone caulk should be used instead, but it doesn't last almost forever like plumber's putty on NON-plastic pipes, etc. **Q: The tube says you can get it wet after 30 mins; my plumber said to wait 24 hours--which is right?** A: I applied mine 2 hours ago and its not all the way dry...maybe you can paint it but dont mess with it on harsher stuff **Q: Is the tip supposed to be a removable cap? If it is, I couldn't get the darn thing off!
