Composition and Materials: Our Backer Rod is a round, resilient, extruded closed cell polyethylene backer rod with a water resistant outer skin. It is compatible with most known cold applied sealants such as urethane, silicone, acrylic, butyl, polysulfides, latex, and chinking sealants.
