Is this when the stand is setup by itself? Or, with equipment attached to it? If your stand is set up and the arm is shaking (with no equipment attached) then you've got the arm set up on the wrong side. You'll need to flip the arm to the other side so that it's stable. If you're uncertain on "how" to setup your stand properly, simply YouTube it. There's plenty of tutorials that show you how to properly set up and use your C-Stand. **Q: How does the grip head handle weight from lights and how does the stand handle the wind? The metal is thinner than Neewer's c stand.** A: This is a great stand, as good as the Matthew's C-stand which I've used for two decades. This is a sturdy heavy duty stand. Like any stand in the wind, it should have a weight bag securing it. The metal is quite thick. **Q: can a light be attached to the end of the boom arm?** A: Yes, you can attach a light to the end of the boom arm, just check your threads of the light. My lights are 18 lbs and 5/8" thread (I also needed a 3/8 adapter), you will need to buy a sand bag watch YouTube to see how to setup. Make sure you can run the lights off of battery power, you don't want a power cable to be pulled or the C-stand will tip and crash down. Add a safety cable to attach your light to the boom and I hope you have a remote for the light. Good C=stand, but you do need to buy (sand bag & safety cable) or it could be dangerous. Going to ER is risky these days, so be careful when you hang your lights on the end of the boom arm. **Q: Will this work with a blue yeti microphone?** A: Yes it will but you would need to buy a Matthews Baby Pin - 5/8" with 3/8" Threaded Tip and also buy a 5/8 to 3/8 inch adapter for the Blue Yeti.
