keeps me covered
this is my first armored shirt/jacket; I wanted something "casual" that maintains ATGAT status. This shirt is pretty comfortable. Some jackets I've tried on just feel really bulky. This shirt is somewhat bulky, but a little less so. It has the moderate temps covered (60-70's), but will get more uncomfortable as it warms up, especially at stop lights. For short jaunts, it will do, I think. But if I think I will have to spend a lot of time waiting for lights to turn green in 90 degree temps, I'll either forego the jacket or opt for my air-conditioned ride.the outer material is like a stretchy denim, so it moves with you. It also has a mesh inner lining and a decent complement of pockets. The armor makes me look bigger than I am, but it isn't super obvious. The snaps haven't failed on me, but I tend to use the zipper by itself and just snap the top snap and the sleeves.the (zippered) armpit vents help move some air, and loosen up the shirt a little, which I like. The medium is just about right on me, without much room for anything under it but a base layer or t-shirt. I am 5'8", 170, with a "formerly athletic" build. It is nice to have sleeves that don't flap in the wind like my regular long-sleeve shirts and jackets.I may need to get a mesh jacket at some point, but this shirt will cover me for my favorite riding times -- moderate temps and clear weather. I think it can handle some light rain, as well, from the looks of it.

Sizes are all over the place
This is a pretty nice jacket. Tons of pockets and comfortable. It also seems well made. I like the zipper and the snaps over the zipper. The challenge with this jacket is the sizing. I order 2 larges. Received the first and it was MASSIVE, so I ordered a medium and sent it back. In the meantime I received my 2nd shirt is size large. It was a much smaller than the first, size large. Then I received the Medium and it was actually larger than the Size Large. I did keep the medium as it fit me well and I do like the jacket. Maybe the Prime wardrobe option would be best for this jacket. Order 2 in different sizes and send back wht you do not want.

Good jacket - just wasn't happy with color
Probably unfair to give it 4 stars. It's a 5 star quality/looking jacket, I just didn't like the color on me. I went with the darker distressed denim jacket this manufacturer makes, and that one is definitely 5 stars. I'm pretty sure they're the same cut and style. Heads up, the snaps will probably bust and need to be replaced. I ordered both a medium and a small, and the small fit better, but the small must've already had a snap replaced because the snap was still on the opposite side (busted off from the other side) yet the other side had one. Probably sounds a bit confusing, but there are 4 pieces to make one snap, 2 pieces per side. Then one snap busted off my distressed denim, but I just went to Joann and bought 5/8" brass snaps, and ordered the tool from Amazon to install them (not necessary though, you could probably find a way to get it done without it). I think the jacket is nice enough to overlook the snaps breaking off, since they're easily replaced, and the jacket is a great price. The pads are excellent, and really cradle your joints. I have confidence they'll properly protect me in my next interaction with the pavement. The collar snaps down so it doesn't flap when you ride. Again, it's a great jacket, I just didn't like the color on me. Make sure you get a snug fitting jacket. I wear a large t-shirt and jacket, but I almost always buy small motorcycle jackets. I'm not sure why their sizing is so off from casual clothing, but it's been like that since at least 2003 when I got my first bike and gear. I'm 5'11 @ 180#. I consider myself skinny, but really skinny guys would say I'm muscular. I wear a large in Affliction jackets, in hoodies, but a small in alpinestars riding jackets, a small in Icon riding jackets, and Shift no longer makes street riding jackets, but I wear a medium with them. These motorcycle gear manufacturers make me sound like a freak, cause I usually wear a small jacket, large gloves, and a medium helmet. Makes me sound like some big-headed, monster-handed, skinny freak.

Good quality.
Although I ended up returning it for a larger size, I can tell it's a great product. It's a thick jacket style shirt with better inside lining that the Speed and Strength brand. It comes with the armor and sits in place. Returned it because the product runs small. I'm 5'9", 180lbs and normally wear a medium. It fit well in the shoulders and arms but the chest and abdomen area was super tight. The shirt also ran short which made it look like a midriff when putting my hands on my t-bars.

Really good quality but runs small
So full disclosure, I haven't worn this on my bike yet but I'm really excited to. It just came today and I've been checking it out. I frickin love this thing. Make sure you check the size chart and maybe consider sizing up. I have a 50 inch chest with a muscular build and the 3X is a tad snug. I was actually a little concerned about that because it's a little shorter than I had hoped but that actually ends up being ok because there's a belt loop tether like a hockey jersey to keep it from coming up. The armpit gussets are awesome. I guarantee this will breathe incredibly well. It seems like it is incredibly well made. Ultimately I am going to exchange this for a larger size. Mostly so that my pistols don't print when I wear this. This is going to probably end up my usual to to when I ride.

Comfortable, strong, protective jacket that's also light and has good air flow.
I like everything except the inside pockets. They are not really practical, and allow items to gather near the waist of the jacket. That said, the rest of the jacket's qualities more than make up for this weakness. I ride in the Mojave desert and wanted a light, cool, armored jacket for everyday protection. This jacket is almost exactly what I was looking for, and is probably the best value of any jacket I have. Its Aramid fiber is somewhat flexible and makes it a comfortable wear. It comes with body armor, except for the back, but there's a pocket for back armor if you want to add it. The collar's tied down and the zipper and snap front closure keeps unwanted breeze out. I normally wear a 44 short, and the XL size does well for me-snug but flexible. I really like this jacket, recommend it highly, and am very glad I bought it.

Muy bien
Se ve resistente y de calidad, talla bien, incluye protecciones de antebrazos y hombros, sería fabuloso que incluyera la de espalda

Fit runs smaller than normal sizes.
Great jacket but be advised that fit runs probably 2 sizes smaller than your normal size. So for example if you are an XL in a Harley jacket you are probably a 3XL in this.

Smart choice in riding gear
Its lighter than a leather jacket but still has some wieght to it.You got plenty of room to move your arms when riding and it's not stiff like a leather jacket.
